- Remove the lid
- Add filtered water to the water fill line
- Drop 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil
- Replace the lid
- Choose your mist setting
- Remove the lid
- Pour out remaining water from the drain side
- Use a cotton swab and neutral detergent to clean the device
- Rinse thoroughly
- Put the lid back on
